[Verse by the valiant company of Voluntiers, who have
engaged in a desperate attempt upon Fort Jolly, on the 23d
day of April, being St. George's Day.]
  Twenty-third, did I say? no --- that will be Sunday, 
  Excuse the mistake --- on the following Monday
  The gates of Fort Jolly we resolve to attack, 
  And, without fire or sword, that strong garrison attack.
